Alternatively you can enjoy exploring some wonderful local beaches or the well known coastal walks offering spectacular views. In the evenings enjoy a BBQ in the garden or visit one of many local pubs serving good food. The accommodation which is extremely spacious offers THREE bedrooms: all situated on the ground floor 1 spacious double with TV en-suite walk-in shower WC and heated towel rail with separate cot room off bedroom. 1 further double room and 1 twin. Bathroom: large with roll-top bath and telephone mixer taps heated towel rail and WC. Lounge/games room: upstairs offers a spacious living room with 40 LCD TV DVD woodburner comfortable seating and table football. Kitchen/lounge/diner: downstairs with exposed beams and well-equipped with dishwasher fridge and large rangemaster cooker along with large dining table comfortable seating area and TV. French doors leading onto the garden. Utility room: separate with microwave freezer washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: large rear garden with patio outside seating and BBQ. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen electric central heating and wi-fi included. Underfloor heating throughout for the colder months. Regret no smoking within the property. 2 dogs welcome. Location: beach at Porthleven 5 miles shops and pubs 2 miles. Arrival: 3pm.

North Cornwall
Wilder and more rugged than the south of the county, North Cornwall is a land of
tall headlands, sandy beaches and empty moorland – yours to explore from one of
our holiday cottages in North Cornwall. The busy resort of Newquay is a major attraction,
with its glorious beaches and fantastic conditions for surfers. Nearby Perranporth
also boasts some fantastic beaches, perfect for sun-lovers. You’ll find many more
lovely beaches, like those at Bude for example, waiting for you on one of our North
Cornwall cottage holidays. This part of Cornwall has become a bit of a mecca for
food lovers too. Rick Stein has put Padstow on the map and more chefs, including
Jamie Oliver, are joining him, attracted by the quality of the ingredients available
locally. Then there is St. Ives, long a haunt of artists drawn here by the wonderful
light and inspiring scenery. A cottage holiday in North Cornwall puts you in touch
with history from ancient celtic times to the days of the smugglers. Tintagel Castle,
rumoured to be the birthplace of King Arthur, sits high on a cliff and still has
a strange air of mystery about it.
South Cornwall
Wonderful scenery, a mild climate, sparkling blue seas and charming seaside villages
make South Cornwall a firm favourite for cottage holidays whatever the season. And
we have a fabulous choice of holiday cottages in South Cornwall from which to make
the most of this lovely part of the country. The Cornish Riviera takes in some of
South Cornwall’s most popular resorts and many of our holiday cottages in South
Cornwall are located nearby. Picturesque Fowey is a haven for sailors, while the
Roseland Peninsula is a noted beauty spot. Mevagissey, St. Mawes and St. Just are
all well worth a visit. Not to be missed is the Eden Project, a fascinating recreation
of different biospheres, featuring a wide variety of exotic plantlife. You should
also make time for a trip to atmospheric St. Michael’s Mount and on to Land’s End,
the most westerly point in England. The county town of Truro has a lovely cathedral
and some excellent shopping opportunities, while Penzance is a bustling resort,
famed for its warm weather and sub-tropical plants. And do make sure you sample
the pasties, saffron cake and clotted cream – all local delicacies, – during your
cottage holiday.
